Kink Affirming Polyamory & ENM No Judgment, Ever

Kink-Aware, Poly-Affirming Therapy — Without Having to Explain Yourself First

If you're exploring kink, polyamory, or an open relationship structure, you shouldn't have to spend half the session educating your therapist or convincing them your relationship is valid. I work directly from that starting point.

What kink- and poly-affirming therapy looks like here

Many therapists are, at best, neutral on kink and non-monogamy, and at worst, subtly pathologizing. I work from the position that consensual kink and non-traditional relationship structures are not, in themselves, problems to be solved — they're contexts I work within, the same way I'd work within any other relationship structure.

That means we can get straight to whatever actually brought you in: jealousy and compersion in a poly relationship, negotiating new relationship energy, communication structures for multiple partners, navigating a partner's kink interests that are new to you, or processing shame or isolation around kink identity.

I work with individuals figuring out their own identity or relationship structure, as well as dyads, triads, and other partner configurations working through the logistics and emotional complexity of ENM together.

  • Individual sessions: $150/session, in-network with Aetna and BCBS/Florida Blue
  • Relationship sessions (any number of partners): $175/session, self-pay
  • In-person in Jacksonville or telehealth anywhere in Florida

Questions from kink and poly clients

Common things people ask before reaching out.

Will I have to explain or justify my relationship structure?

No. You can assume baseline familiarity and no judgment, and spend your session time on what actually brought you in rather than on education.

Can you see more than two partners together in a session?

Yes — I work with dyads, triads, and other multi-partner configurations, depending on scheduling and what's most useful for your specific situation.

Is this covered by insurance?

Individual sessions can often be billed through Aetna or BCBS/Florida Blue. Sessions involving multiple partners are billed as relationship sessions at $175/session, self-pay.

What if my partner isn't on board with therapy yet?

That's common. Individual sessions can still be useful for your own clarity, and sometimes that naturally opens the door to joint sessions later.

You deserve a therapist who starts where you actually are.
